The son of an Italian father and Dutch mother, founder Giuseppe Cavallaro always had a love of impeccable style and an affinity with the heart of tailoring; Naples. On a mission to bring this sense of sartorial style to the Netherlands, he set up Cavallaro Napoli in 2001.

True to his intricate knowledge of Italian design, Giuseppe crafted the first ever Cavallaro Napoli collection of silk ties in a small atelier in the centre of Naples – it was sold to friends and family. It signalled the beginning of the brand’s meteoric growth.
